Rounded stroke endings and an emphasis on curves gives this typeface an organic and warm yet mature and modern appearance. Subtle idiosyncrasies are where it finds its own unique personality. Asymmetrical arcs in uppercase letters—seen especially in the crossbar of the A and the leg of the R—are reminiscent of the characteristic curves employed in Art Nouveau, perhaps a subconscious nod to Mucha’s type design. The majuscules are not much taller than the minuscules and forms are slightly condensed but remain clear and open, resulting in a harmonious and highly legible design with a pleasing reading texture for passages of extensive text, as well as beautiful titles.
