Upper & lowercase
Elegant and tall but not condensed, 52-Kfx has a distinctly period feel to it but remains relevant for contemporary application. Exaggerated ascenders and descenders of the lowercase and a tall cap-height give it a lofty stature. This creates a light airiness that is emphasized by the tittles of the lowercase i and j who float away from their stems, contained only by an invisible ceiling created by the ascender height.
The uppercase has an Art Deco flavor seen not only in the tall cap-height, but also in the rounded apex on the letters such as the A and M. The crossbars of the uppercase run perfectly in line with the relatively small x-height of the lowercase. This anchors the characters with a low center of gravity, giving them stability and strength. The spacing and lyrical rhythm are perfectly in sync, highlighted by the join in the tails of the lowercase k and j. 52-Kfx is perfectly suited for names and titles.
