The signature of this typeface comes from the convex meniscus of the crossbar of the H, which is echoed across other letters such as the C and Y. The characters are extended to the point that they appear vertically compressed resulting in a strong horizontal linear emphasis perfect for names and short titles. The figures are taller than the letters and are more open, meeting the cap-height but hanging below the baseline on a descender line. A modern design with rounded stroke endings and an intangible oriental flavor.
*There are three alternate characters: the P & R have more spacious counters and the S is created from straight lines rather than curved.
