How to install your typeface
for use on desktop or web

-

Installation Mac

Once purchased and downloaded from MyFonts double click the zipped folder to access the files. Locate the .otf file. For any version of Mac OS X, drag and drop or paste the .otf file into the Fonts folder in your user’s Library folder found at: /Users/Your_Username/Library/Fonts.
NB: As of OS Lion, the library folder is hidden from users unless you hold down the Alt/Option key while clicking on the “Go” menu in Finder.

Alternative method for Mac OS X 10.3 or higher: Double click the font file and fontbook will open a preview of the font. Click “install font” at the bottom of the preview.

Installation PC

Once purchased and downloaded from MyFonts unzip the folder to access the files. Locate the .otf file. For Windows 10/8/7/Vista select the .otf file then Right-click > Install

Or for any version of Windows drag and drop or paste the .otf file into the Fonts folder, found at C:\Windows\Fonts (Start Menu > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Fonts).

Using webfont kit

There are currently three different font formats that must be included in order to target all major browser platforms. Each of these file types (.eot .woff .woff2) are included in the _webfontkit folder in your download, along with the CSS @font-face declaration —stylesheet.css— that helps various browsers select the font it needs.
